Cody Gakpo will tonight make his Liverpool debut in the FA Cup against Wolves.

The January signing from PSV has had a couple of training sessions with his new team-mates and is in tonight’s starting line-up.

A long injury list now includes Virgil van Dijk after the defender was ruled out for around a month with a hamstring issue that requires specialist treatment.

Roberto Firmino is also not included after failing to shake off injury to feature in an attack that will be without Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota due to long-term issues, though Jordan Henderson is fit against after concussion to start.

Ibrahima Konate had a torrid time in last weekend’s defeat to Brentford but keeps his place, alongside Joel Matip, while Andrew Robertson is fit to start after a knock.

Alisson keeps his place in goal over usual cup keeper Caoimhin Kelleher.
