London drug dealer admits being involved in cocaine and heroin supply in Oxfordshire
A London man has admitted working for a ‘County Lines’ drug dealing operation in Didcot earlier this year.
Appearing before Oxford Crown Court on Friday (June 9), Dwayne Halfhide, 34, of Mayo Road, Brent, pleaded guilty to two counts of being concerned in supplying class A drugs heroin and crack cocaine between January 31 and February 26 this year.
The drugs line was reportedly known as the ‘AJ’ line.
His barrister said the North West London man’s pleas were entered on a basis, although this was not set out when the matter came before Judge Maria Lamb this week.
The judge adjourned the case for three weeks to June 29 for the Crown Prosecution Service to consider the basis of plea.
If not accepted, a judge will hear evidence at a special type of hearing called a Newton and decide on the role within the drugs operation that the defendant played.
Halfhide, wearing a Nike tracksuit jumper, spoke only to confirm his name and his guilty pleas. He was remanded in custody.
