Louisville TV station gets creative after being denied coverage of Cardinals' spring game

Louisville TV station WLKY had to get really creative to provide coverage of the Cardinals' spring game.

Louisville football made covering its spring game difficult for local TV station WLKY on Saturday after the Cardinals denied access to all local media.

This isn't new for members of the Petrino family: Bobby's brother, Paul Petrino, banned local media from Idaho's football practices back in 2015.

The fine folks at WLKY, undeterred, still found a way to provide highlights of the game by usingartist'srenderings of the biggest plays to show on its late-night broadcast.

Even if WLKY doesn't get an award for this outstanding piece of reporting, it can at least place the drawings on the office fridge.
