Carlisle United head to Hartlepool this weekend - so we've taken a look at some memorable previous trips over the years.

We'll gloss over the odd defeat and instead bask in these enjoyable moments...

Hayward's free-kick, Reevesy's late show (1996)

The hosts led through an early Mark Cooper set-piece. Cue a bit of Steve Hayward free-kick magic and then a David Reeves winner for United, both in the last seven minutes.

Lubo's rocket, Madine's treble (2010)

Carlisle earned a free-kick roughly 17 miles from the Hartlepool goal. No problem for their big Slovakian - and after this, Gary Madine rolled a hat-trick into Pools' net

Robson's return (2012)

The home fans sang a few unflattering songs in Matty Robson's direction on his return to Victoria Park. So the ex-Pools man went and scored the winner for United:

Rigg's dream debut (2014)

Carlisle's new boss Keith Curle handed a debut to former Penrith hotshot Steven Rigg at Victoria Park. The Keswick poacher certainly made the most of it to kick off a 3-0 win:
