Luton Town win could spark Hull City's revival admits determined Tim Walter
Tim Walter believes victory at Luton Town on Saturday could be the kick-start to Hull City's season they've been desperately searching for in recent weeks.
The final international break until March probably came at a good time for the Tigers, who were winless in the six games since the last one, a form which saw the fans turn on the German boss and demand his sacking.
That has happened, yet, with owner Acun Ilicali coming out in support of the under-pressure head coach and though both are preaching time and patience, football results ultimately determine how long somebody stays in post for, and Walter will be aware of that.

For their part, Luton have endured a disastrous return to the Championship after their sole campaign in the Premier League after being tipped as promotion contenders. Rob Edwards, who, like Walter, is under intense scrutiny, has been unable to halt a slump that saw the Hatters battered 5-1 at Middlesbrough last time out, their eighth defeat in the opening 15 games which has also seen them concede 26 goals - only QPR's 28 is worse.
Walter, like Ilicali, believes City have not had the rub of the green in recent weeks but hopes that it will turn within the tight confines of Kenilworth Road against a physical side that will put his side under serious aerial threat.
"Maybe it's helpful, yeah," Walter said on the subject of playing in a tight stadium, like Loftus Road - the scene of City's second away win of the season. "They're very straightforward, and that's a different kind of playing, but it doesn't mean that it's worse or better.
"They decided to have that philosophy because they got promoted, they stayed in the Prem for one year, now they get relegated, and they still stuck with the gaffer, and that's brilliant because he had the time to implement the philosophy. At the moment, it's not working as they want it to work, so they have to adapt to the Championship again like we do.
"Every time, it could be a moment. We have to take this moment, and we want to take this moment to have better results, and maybe we have a bit more luck on our side. You never know how it works in a game; you just never know. All you can do is to find out, to analyse them before to know what they are doing, but they know the same about you.
"We had it on our side (bad luck) that the coincidence sometimes the ball hits a hand or they hit the post inside or the ball goes outside. We were not that lucky, but we tried to fight hard for our luck, and it may also be a coincidence on our side. Maybe this will change the whole moment."
