Alexis Mac Allister is ready for pre-season after a trip to home to Argentina.

The Albion star is back in Brighton and Hove ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.

While on his travels, he was honoured by his former club Argentinos Juniors for being part of the Argentina squad which won La Finalissima against Italy.

Mac Allister and Nico Gonzalez were presented with shirts before a game.

The Seagulls No.10 then linked up with his own family club, Deportivo Mac Allister, in La Pampa for trianing sessions in the gym and with the ball.

Mac Allister has shared photos via Instagram of himself enjoying some home cooking back in England with Florin Andone.

Albion kick off their pre-season fixtures when Union St-Gilloise visit Lancing on Saturday for a behind-closed-doors fixture.

It is likely that game could come too soon for Mac Allister who, like other players involved in international fixtures, was allowed to report back later than the official start date for pre-season.
