Married at First Sight UK love expert Paul C Brunson has revealed that things are about to get a bit more personal in the next season of the hit dating show.

Matchmaker Brunson is one of the three experts who help hopeful romantics find their ideal marital partner, and with the new season just around the corner, he has let slip some important new information.

Speaking to The Sun, Brunson divulged that he and fellow experts Mel Schilling and Charlene Douglas, for the first time in the show's UK history, will be visiting the matched couples in their apartments to share relationship advice.

He said: "You'll see in this series we make visits to their apartments, myself, Charlene and Mel.

"It has happened individually before – did that sex visit to Kwame and Kasia, but this will be the first series that you see ALL of us make independent visits to their apartments, and group visits to help them along."

He feels this new format will help bring couples closer and will help those who may have issues to resolve them faster.

Brunson added: "I think it's really good because you get a chance to get to see us do what each of us is an expert in."

A release date for the new UK season is yet to be announced.

The first season in the UK aired in 2015 with the show having successful runs in the US and Australia.

Expert Schilling, who also works on the Australian version of the show, recently told Digital Spy that success on the series isn't just if a couple stays together.

"I think we can look more broadly at the way success manifests in the show," Schilling said.

"I certainly have seen some incredibly powerful personal transformations happen.

"People go on, post-experiment, to not only have better and different relationships because they've learned how to change their patterns, but also to just live in a different way."

Married at First Sight UK airs on E4 in the UK. Married at First Sight Australia airs on Nine Network in Australia and E4 in the UK.
