The Algerian had been expected to move to the Premier League champions before the World Cup.
But one of the longest running transfer sagas going isn’t about to be resolved any time soon, says The Sun.
Mahrez still wants the move to the Etihad but there is one more hurdle to jump.
The Sun has reported that a deal is close but Mahrez feels he is entitled to a loyalty bonus for his services to the 2016 champions.
