Manchester United have made an offer for Paris Saint-Germain left-back Nuno Mendes, according to reports in France. The full-back is out of contract in 2026, but it is reported that negotiations about another contract have not gone well.

According to RMC Sport United have made an ‘offer’ for the 22-year-old, although there is no details on what the offer entails, and if it’s to PSG or to the player himself.

It is added that the French giants are not considering selling the player in the upcoming January window, and are still hoping to agree an extension with Nunes. The full-back has played 16 times in all competitions for PSG, scoring two goals and providing the same amount of assists.

Elsewhere, Italian side Juventus have reportedly turned down the chance to sign Marcus Rashford in the January transfer window. The Sun report that the United forward is being offered to various clubs around Europe, but his wages are a stumbling block for a lot of teams.

The report adds that Juve are instead turning their attention to United teammate Joshua Zirkzee. The forward has struggled since moving from Bologna in the summer, and his former manager Thiago Motta is keen on a reunion with the Dutchman.

United are said to be unwilling to take a financial hit on the player, just six months after his move to Old Trafford. Zirkzee has scored three times in 18 Premier League appearances so far this season.

Rashford, meanwhile, has been left out of the United squad all together for the last four games in all competitions. The player himself has spoken of a desire for a new challenge ahead of the January transfer window.
