Man City injury latest ahead of Liverpool with Pep Guardiola sweating over three players
Manchester City are sweating over the fitness of several key players ahead of Sunday’s trip to Liverpool. Pep Guardiola knows a defeat to the Premier League leaders will see an 11-point gap open up to the Reds.
The Blues have gone through the whole of November without a win and have conceded 13 goals in their last four games. Ruben Dias has been absent for City with a calf issue but could make his return to action this weekend, after making the bench against Feyenoord in midweek.
But there is meanwhile ambiguity over several other injury doubts. Guardiola kept his cards close to his chest in his press conference, meaning Liverpool - who will be without Ibrahima Konate - are none the wiser as to who might be available for the visitors.

Mateo Kovacic came back from international duty this month carrying a knock. The Croatian has failed to play in the club’s first two games back, with Guardiola stating that he could be out for around a month.
John Stones was taken off at half-time in the 4-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur last Sunday and was omitted from the squad against Feyenoord on Wednesday, when City surrendered a three-goal lead to draw 3-3. However, Jeremy Doku might play on Sunday having returned to training.
He was not ready for the clash with Feyenoord but could make the cut having missed the last three games. Oscar Bobb has not yet returned to action after suffering a fractured leg in pre-season while Rodri is expected to miss the rest of the campaign with his cruciate ligament setback.
As for Liverpool, Arne Slot will have to deal without Konate, who is set for a spell on the sidelines. The defender hobbled off at full-time against Real Madrid on Wednesday, appearing to be in some discomfort with his knee.
Conor Bradley was also forced off before the end with a hamstring complaint. He remains a doubt for Sunday, although Slot has confirmed Trent Alexander-Arnold is ready to start at Anfield after his injury absence.
