Man United players 'should be up for sale' in huge transfer message as Van Nistelrooy warning sent
Manchester United earned a hard fought 3-2 win over Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League on Thursday night.
Rasmus Hojlund's brace after an early Alejandro Garnacho goal secured the points for United but they received a fright from their Norwegian visitors. The Reds are now in a good position to qualify for the knockout stages with Ruben Amorim's team sitting just a point off the automatic qualification spots.
Next up for United is Everton on Sunday in the Premier League (kick-off: 1:30pm). With that said, below are some of the latest headlines surrounding Old Trafford...

Transfer message
Former England striker Stan Collymore believes every single Manchester United player Ruben Amorim has inherited should be up for sale.
“I think that every single player – Casemiro, Amad, Rashford or whoever it is – at this point in time should be available for sale until the time where Amorim has played them for 15 to 20 games and they’ve proven that they can produce consistent nine out of 10 performances,” he told Caught Offside.
“Rashford scoring within 30 seconds against Ipswich but then doing nothing else for the rest of the game… we’ve seen this before and not just with him either.
“Can we honestly say, with our hands on our hearts, that there is one Manchester United player that is a consistent title winning player? The answer is no.
“When Zirkzee first came it was ‘great, he’s the future, he’s a ball playing, ball carrying number 10 that can get in the box’ but he’s already dropped off a cliff.
“The reality is that I could pick out any names that Manchester United could build around, but I would be lying to myself as a pundit to say that I could guarantee that any of these guys will be relevant in 20 to 25 games time.”
MEN Sport's Isaac Seelochan says: "Of course this is hyperbole from Collymore but you hope the United players will have this attitude to prove they are worth keeping under Amorim."
Ruud warning
Former Leicester City forward Alan Smith has expressed doubts over Ruud van Nistelrooy being the right fit for his former side.
"I don't see Ruud van Nistelrooy and Leicester as a good match," he said via Mega Dice. "I feel as though his mind would be elsewhere on the bigger jobs available if he were to do well. He used to be a big-time player, and you carry that attitude through as a coach.
"I don't think it'll be too long until he gets a Premier League job. He got good experience at PSV Eindhoven winning a few domestic cups, he has been an assistant with the Netherlands national team, and he impressed whilst he was interim manager of Manchester United, I just wouldn't say he was the right man for Leicester at this stage."
MEN Sport's Isaac Seelochan says: "It's natural to think that Van Nistelrooy will want to go on to bigger and better things after Leicester. But if he does that, he will have done very well at the Foxes and few fans will begrudge him for moving to a bigger club if that were the case."
