According to reports, Premier League duo Man Utd and Chelsea are among the clubs showing ‘concrete’ interest in Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot.

The France international has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League in recent months.

The former PSG star has been with Juventus since 2019. He signed for the Serie A side on a free transfer.

Rabiot has been a key player for Juventus over the past three seasons, playing 129 times across all competitions.

The 27-year-old has lifted the Serie A and Coppa Italia in this time. His contract is due to expire in 2023.

Calciomercato (via Sport Witness) are reporting that Man Utd and Chelsea have ‘intensified contacts’ with Rabiot’s representatives.

PSG are showing an interest in him but ‘something concrete’ is said to be coming from the Premier League.

The player’s valuation is €15m but it is understood that Juventus will attempt to get €20m for him.

Elsewhere, when asked who he would have picked for the Manchester United job between Gareth Southgate and Steve Holland, or Erik ten Hag, Danny Murphy replied: “Gareth and Steve.”

He went on to explain: “I know them. I think they’ve come a long way, the pair of them, and have a great partnership.

“What they’ve achieved with England, managing big players. Gareth has evolved into a very intelligent football manager.

“With Steve by his side, they would do a great job at a big club.

“What United need now isn’t all about on the pitch. They will be judged on that, but initially what do United need?

“They need someone to bring together this squad and try and create a unity, atmosphere and energy that England have. I think that would be fair.

“What Ten Hag has done, of course it is credible winning the league three times with Ajax and he did alright with Utrecht.

“He’s not managed big players at a big club, so we don’t know how he’s going to deal with that pressure.

“Every part of his life will be magnified, whether that will be the wrong shop at the wrong time, or drives the wrong car. Everything he does, is now going to be talked about.”
