Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes has tipped Marcus Rashford to become as good as Barcelona winger Neymar.
The 19-year-old is lighting it up again under Jose Mourinho, and has been scoring important goals as of late - putting an early one past Chelsea last weekend as well as hitting the winner against Anderlecht in the Europa League on Thursday.
With Zlatan Ibrahimovic being ruled out for the rest of the season, there will be a burden on the youngster's shoulders. Yet given his immense talent, he should relish the pressure.Scholes has been keeping a close eye on Rashford, and is waxing lyrical over the player following recent performances.
"He will be a brilliant centre-forward, there's no doubt about that," the United legend said to BBC Radio 5 live (H/T the Mirror). "My only concern is because he is so quick, and United will possibly have two or three centre-forwards, he might get shoved out wide.
"It's not a bad thing - you look at Cristiano's record. People like Neymar, he has got that kind of ability. It's a lot to live up to but he can be a world star."
United are still in the hunt for a top four spot in the Premier League, as well as the Europa League title. And as long as Rashford can keep playing the way he has been over the last few weeks, they really do stand a chance of achieving both these things.
