Manchester United is being linked with a surprising swap deal involving Jadon Sancho as transfer speculation continues across the Premier League.

Despite no new arrivals at Old Trafford so far this summer, speculation is rife about who might be donning the famous red shirt next season. As Erik ten Hag prepares for his first pre-season at the helm, strengthening his squad will undoubtedly be high on his agenda.

United's shopping list reportedly includes three centre-backs, with Everton's Jarrad Branthwaite, Lille's Leny Yoro and Bayern Munich's Matthijs de Ligt all said to be in their sights.

Sancho, once again, finds himself at the centre of transfer talk. Italian news outlet Gazzetta suggests that Juventus are considering a swap deal involving Federico Chiesa. The report indicates that the Serie A giants are open to an exchange that would see Sancho and Chiesa switch clubs this summer.

Ten Hag is reportedly not opposed to a swap deal involving Chiesa and Sancho. Sancho, who only made three appearances for United last season before being loaned out to Borussia Dortmund, could be on the move again. He has no future at Old Trafford under Ten Hag following their public bust-up.

In other news, United are said to be eyeing Feyenoord's David Hancko. The Athletic reports that the Red Devils are considering a summer move for the adaptable centre-back.

The report suggests that Hancko is seen as a potential addition to United's squad, capable of playing both as a left-sided centre-back and occasionally at left-back. If United were to secure Hancko's signature, he would likely compete with Lisandro Martinez in the center-back position and Luke Shaw at left-back.

Liverpool.com says: Sancho was tipped to be the next big thing at United but he has largely underwhelmed and that is before considering his falling out with Ten Hag. He will have hoped for a change in the dugout but United has kept faith with the Dutchman and it means Sancho will be on the move. A deal including Chiesa would be a good piece of business.
