According to reports, Serie A outfit AS Roma have put Tammy Abraham up for sale ahead of the summer amid interest from Man Utd and Tottenham Hotspur.

Chelsea sold Abraham in 2021 after he fell down the pecking order under Thomas Tuchel. Jose Mourinho’s Roma spent around €38m to recruit him ahead of the 2021/22 campaign.

The Englishman enjoyed a superb debut season for the Italian side, scoring 27 goals in 53 appearances across all competitions.

Abraham’s form has declined this term as he has only managed to find the net nine times in 46 outings for Roma. Back in November, the forward admitted that he has been “low in confidence”.

“I know I haven’t been the real me, I know I haven’t been playing the best I can be, but I am human at the end of the day. I’ve been low in confidence, but today I had to show the fans I’m still me and I am still willing to fight for the team and do as much as I can for the team,” he admitted.

“We have one more game to go before the break and after the break, you will see a better and stronger me.”

The former Chelsea forward has been constantly linked with a move back to England over the past couple of years. Recent reports have indicated that he is being targeted by Man Utd.

The Red Devils are in the market for a new striker and Abraham would be a cheaper option than Tottenham’s Harry Kane and Napoli’s Victor Osimhen.

Italian outlet Calciomercato are reporting Manchester United, Tottenham and PSG have all been ‘studying’ Abraham in recent weeks.

Roma are ‘open to selling’ him this summer but they have reportedly made it clear that a transfer will not be completed for a fee ‘less than €40-45 million’.

It is noted that Chelsea could re-sign Abraham for €80m as part of their buy-back option, but they have ‘other plans’.

The report points out that it is too early to predict who Abraham could join because Man Utd, Tottenham and PSG all need to work out who the forward would be replacing.

The report adds: ‘PSG are thinking about a revolution as Lionel Messi and Neymar could soon pack their bags; Marcus Rashford’s position (who really likes PSG) is in the balance and Tottenham need to understand how to manage Harry Kane’s future after Antonio Conte’s farewell.’

Rashford was heavily linked with PSG last summer after he endured a poor season under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ralf Rangnick in 2021/22.

The United star is under contract until 2024 but the Premier League giants are in talks with him over a new deal.
