Reported Man Utd target Sasa Kalajdzic has revealed that he is “open to everything” ahead of this summer’s transfer window.

It was revealed last month that Man Utd, Bayern Munich and PSG are interested in the VfB Stuttgart forwardHe is understood to be available for around £17m.

The 24-year-old netted 16 times in 33 games in the Bundesliga during the 2020/21 campaign.

How will Manchester United play Lewandowski, Mount, De Jong and Nkunku?

The Austria international was hampered by injuries this term. He was only able to play 15 times but he scored six goals. His contract is set to expire at the end of the 2022/2023 season.

Kalajdzic has now spoken out on his future. He acknowledged that “nothing is out of the question”:

“There will be no rush job. It’s about finding what’s best for me,” Kalajdzic said (via Manchester Evening News).

“Nothing is out of the question, I’m open to everything. I don’t know where the journey is going. There are many things going on in the background.”

Elsewhere, Man Utd have reportedly made Braga centre-back David Carmo an alternative option if they fail to sign Ajax’s Jurrien Timber this summer.

Erik ten Hag has reportedly made Timber his top target at centre-back this summer as he attempts to improve the leaky Man Utd defence, which conceded the eighth most goals in the Premier League last season.

It is likely that the new defender will compete with Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof and Raphael Varane for a place in the team with Eric Bailly and Phil Jones likely to leave in the summer.

Man Utd do have a back-up plan if their bid to sign Timber fails with the Manchester Evening News claiming that the Red Devils have ‘held talks with’ Carmo.

Timber is still Ten Hag’s ‘preferred choice’ as he looks to bring in a new centre-back this summer but Man Utd have ‘had two rounds of discussions with Braga centre half Carmo’s representatives’.

Carmo, who got his first call-up to the Portugal national team last week, is ‘considered a fall-back option’ if anything goes wrong with the potential Timber deal.
