Managers: Mancini lauds 'incredible' Tevez

Managers: Mancini praise

Manchester City 2-1 Chelsea

Roberto Mancini: "Carlos is not 100 per cent, but that is normal. But he knows the football. That was important because he did an incredible assist for Samir. What happened with him finished one month ago when Carlos came back and everything was finished. I have spoken to Carlos every day in the last month. He knew he would be on the bench today and would probably play for 20 minutes. If he can find good form in 10 days that would be important for us. Now it is important for him to play some games, for us, him and his future."

Roberto Di Matteo: "It is a setback for us but we look forward to the future. Two weeks ago we were seven points behind third place, now we are six. We need to look at these things because we are going in the right direction. We showed we can match the best teams in this league."

Everton 0-1 Arsenal

David Moyes: "Apart from the first 20 minutes, I think we played as well as Arsenal and were really unlucky not to take something from the games. There are five decisions that (should have been given as) onside. I wouldn't come up here and say that (otherwise) - there are five, I have checked, and that was a goal. In the last few games we have had really poor decisions against us. It was the referee's assistant tonight who got it wrong."

Arsene Wenger: "We were resilient, focused and showed a great desire to defend - our defence played very well tonight. You have seen a side of us that normally people don't know, but it was the only way to get the result tonight I felt, and it was good to know we can do that as well. We defended well on crosses - something which is not usually our strong point - and overall we never panicked."

QPR 3-2 Liverpool

Mark Hughes: "It could be a defining moment and we have to make sure that it is. I think we have been frustrated in recent weeks because we have felt things have gone against us. Things have been taken out of our hands. We haven't done too badly in games performance-wise but we haven't been able to get points on the board. From our point of view it was huge in terms of belief and what we will take out of the game. Now it is important we look to the weekend and make sure we don't let this go to waste."

Kenny Dalglish: "I don't think anyone saw it coming. The way we started the game was fantastic, the passing and the movement - the only thing missing was in front of goal. They came in at 0-0 at half-time and it could have easily been 3-0 or 4-0. You didn't even see them getting a goal. Maybe the luck they never got at Bolton, they got it tonight with a last-minute winner."

Tottenham 1-1 Stoke City

Harry Redknapp: "We can still finish above Arsenal. Arsenal can think it's all over. It's not all over. There's a long way to go yet. There'll be twists and turns. It's all to play for still. They're not going to win every game, are they, I don't think. I just felt we got a bit panicky. We stopped passing the ball as well."

Tony Pulis: "We're very, very pleased with the effort that the lads have put in on the back of such a tough game on Saturday at Liverpool and on the back of such a tough game at Chelsea. Three away games have been big, big games for the team and the football club. Putting in a performance like that today was testament to what the team's all about. They're a very, very hard-working group of players who just give everything for one another."
