Manchester City are two wins away from clinching the Premier League title, but their visit to Everton on Saturday won’t be as easy as some may think.

The Blues lost this fixture 4-0 last season and City’s form is notoriously poor at Goodison Park, so Sam Allardyce’s men will be confident going into the game.

Everton have impressed in their last two matches, winning both, but this will be a whole new test for the only Premier League team not to have been beaten by Guardiola’s men this season.

Head to head

Jagielka v Jesus

With Sergio Aguero breathing down Gabriel Jesus’ neck as he returns from a knee injury, the young Brazilian needs to perform.

Phil Jagielka will need to use his positional and organisational experience to stop the lively Jesus and his equally-youthful wingers, Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterling, from breaking the defensive line.

City will dominate the ball without doubt, so concentration from the Everton back line is critical if they are to earn anything from the game.

Sane v Coleman

Sane has been on top form in recent weeks and Seamus Coleman will have to ensure he don’t lose sight of the 22-year-old.

Coleman loves to bomb down the wing himself and a counter-attacking opportunity may arise where he can cause the relatively-untested City defence some issues.

This comes with great danger, because, if Everton’s full backs, including Leighton Baines, join a counter attack, it could be switched on its head in the blink of an eye, leaving City through on goal.

Who to pick

Leroy Sane’s form is enough to make sure you select him this weekend, and Guardiola knows the more he gets the ball, the easier it is to break down Allardyce’s defence.

With eight goals and 11 assists this season, he’s a sure starter, but there’s still the possibility he could fall victim to the manager’s rotation plan with big games against Liverpool and United ahead.

Who to avoid

Bar John Stones and Sergio Aguero who have both been ruled out of the fixture, it could be noted that Zinchenko would be a risky pick.

Guardiola didn’t mention Benjamin Mendy or Fabian Delph on City’s injury list, so one of those could even return against Everton.

It’s difficult to tell who will play there on Saturday, with Danilo also an option, so selecting any prospective left back wouldn’t be the best move this week.

Who to watch

Wait to see if Mendy is in the first team squad against Everton, because this could be a great way to earn points over the next few Gameweeks.

When he’s back as first choice he’ll be flying down the wing, proving what City, and your fantasy team, have missed this campaign.

With his injury, he only costs £15 on Yahoo Daily Fantasy, so it’s a steal when he gets back on the park.
