Manchester City Twitter account disappears

Manchester City’s Twitter account has disappeared, with the profile of the Premier League club no longer visible.

It is not clear whether the account, which runs off the Twitter handle @ManCity, has been deleted or removed, or if it has been subjected to a hack.

A default Twitter message which appeared on Wednesday morning reads on the club’s profile page: “This account doesn’t exist”.

The club are aware of the issues and are investigating the matter, but it’s understood that they are confident they have not had their account hacked.
