Manchester United players 'mock club legends with videos'

Manchester United players are reportedly passing around clips of club legends making mistakes as they react to recent criticism.

Former players such as Gary Neville, Rio Ferdinand, and most consistently Paul Scholes, have criticised the current squad for failing to perform.

As well as manager Jose Mourinho, Paul Pogba has come in for sustained criticism over his efforts and some of the players at Old Trafford are starting to resent the treatment.

The Mirror reports that players believe that their treatment has been excessive and unwarranted, and claims that those still at the club are sending videos of the former players making important clangers in their time at United.

One criticism that has been levelled at the players is that they do not care, which they feel is an unjustifiably personal attack. They also think that they are the targets because the pundits do not want to go for Mourinho, and face his wrath.

Mourinho has in the past aimed digs at ‘the kings of rock ‘n’ roll,’ which some took to mean the Class of ’92, and faced heavy criticism himself from Scholes.

However, in recent weeks, Neville has made it plain he holds Ed Woodward and the Glazer family more responsible for any problems at the club.
