Manchester United make Ruud van Nistelrooy decision after Ruben Amorim arrival
Ruud van Nistelrooy has departed from his role as interim head coach at Manchester United following a four-game tenure. The ex-Netherlands forward stepped in after Erik ten Hag was dismissed and now leaves with first-team coaches Rene Hake, Jelle ten Rouwelaar, and Pieter Morel.
Manchester United have stated they will reveal the new backroom team under incoming manager Ruben Amorim "in due course". The Portuguese manager officially started at the Old Trafford club on Monday after leaving FC Porto.
Van Nistelrooy's final game in charge was Sunday's 3-0 Premier League victory over Leicester City, which left the Red Devils 13th in the Premier League table. Amorim will be in charge for their game at Ipswich Town following the international break.

A Manchester United statement read: "Manchester United can confirm that Ruud van Nistelrooy has left the club. Ruud rejoined in the summer and has taken charge of the team for the past four matches as interim head coach. Ruud is, and always will be, a Manchester United legend.
"We are grateful for his contribution and the way in which he has approached his role throughout his time with the club. He will always be very welcome at Old Trafford. Rene Hake, Jelle ten Rouwelaar and Pieter Morel have also departed and we wish them all well for the future. We will confirm the full men's first team coaching composition in due course."
