Manchester United transfer news: Jadon Sancho, Alexis Sanchez, Paul Pogba and Marcos Rojo latest

Jadon Sancho has apparently been handed an improved contract by Borussia Dortmund in a blow to Manchester United's hopes of signing him next summer.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer targeted the England international earlier in the summer only to be told that Sancho had no intention of joining with United not being able to offer Champions League football.

United are expected to return for the 19-year-old next summer but the Bundesliga side are doing all they can to keep him in Germany.

Bild report that he has agreed a deal that will see his weekly wages double from £40,000 to £80,000.

Sancho enjoyed a fabulous breakout season a year ago scoring 12 goals with 14 assists and has already opened his account this term with a goal against Augsburg at the weekend.

Meanwhile, Alexis Sanchez looks finally set to leave Old Trafford.

Inter Milan have agreed a loan proposal for the Chilean, according to Corriere dello Sport, which could see him join him with former United teammate Romelu Lukaku in Italy.

Sanchez is understood to earn £400,000 per week in Manchester meaning United may have to subsidise any move away.

Solskjaer could yet keep the 30-year-old as a back-up option behind Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford but was coy over his future following the draw with Wolves on Monday evening.

"Let's see what happens," he said. "At the moment he is our player. Some clubs have shown interest in Alexis."

Inter will have the option to make the deal permanent for £14m next summer.

The European transfer window doesn't shut for another fortnight meaning chat around Paul Pogba's future is likely to continue for that long at least.

Real Madrid are desperate to sign the French international before the window slams shut with Zinedine Zidane a big fan.

Pogba too is keen on swapping Manchester for Madrid but Solskjaer believes Pogba will still be a United player come next month.

"For me, yeah, he’s going to stay,” he said ahead of the Wolves game.

To a more likely exit and Marcos Rojo, who looks likely to leave before the month is out.

The Daily Mirror report that United are even willing to pay the Argentine to get him off the books.

Everton were keen for much of the summer but refused to meet United's £20m asking price.

Now Fenerbahce appear the favourites to land him, initially on loan, with the player said to prefer a move to Spain or Italy.
