Manchester United XI vs Wolves: No Rashford - starting lineup, confirmed team news and injury latest
Manchester United are missing Marcus Rashford for today’s Premier League clash with Wolves.
United’s top scorer played the full 90 minutes last weekend as Erik ten Hag’s side fell to a 1-0 defeat at West Ham, which allowed Liverpool to close to within a point in the battle for Champions League football.

However, Rashford will miss out entirely at Old Trafford with a leg issue as Wolves visit this afternoon, but there is better news for United in that centre-back Raphael Varane is available and starts for the first time in a month.
“He has a problem, an injury on his leg, so he is a big question mark for tomorrow,” Ten Hag said about Rashford on Friday. “But we are happy Rapha Varane is back.
“[Rashford] is doubtful, more than doubtful. So [there is] a big question mark.”
With Varane coming straight back into the side, Luke Shaw shifts to left-back and Aaron Wan-Bissaka beats Diogo Dalot to the right-back slot.
Tyrell Malacia drops out, with Wout Weghorst also replaced by Anthony Martial. Jadon Sancho comes in for the injured Rashford.
Alejandro Garnacho is back in contention after being named on the bench at the London Stadium and is among the substitutes again today. United also keep faith in David de Gea in goal despite his costly blunder against West Ham.
“[Garnacho] has one more week training, definitely,” Ten Hag said on Friday. “Yeah, so he is available and we have seen he can bring something extra in the team.”
Manchester United XI: De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Varane, Shaw, Casemiro, Eriksen, Fernandes, Antony, Martial, Sancho
Subs: Butland, Dalot, Maguire, Malacia, Fred, Pellistri, Garnacho, Elanga, Weghorst
