Marc Bartra has been named as the Borussia Dortmund player injured after an explosion on the team bus on Tuesday evening.
The player was reportedly taken to hopsital after the incident as the Dortmund squad made its way to their Signal Iduna Park, where they were meant to host Monaco in the Champions League quarter-finals that evening.
A decision on whether that match will be played was made at 19:30 BST, with the match postponed until Wednesday night – kick-off 5:45pm BST.
Bartra, 26, joined the German club last summer from Barcelona, where the Catalan had graduated from the famed La Masia academy.
The centre-back has represented Spain 13 times since his international breakthrough in 2013, and has also played five non-competitive matches for Catalonia.
Bartra has been a regular feature for Dortmund in his first season with the club, making 18 league appearances and seven more in the Champions League, scoring one goal and making three assists along the way.
