March Madness 2017: De'Aaron Fox shines in Kentucky win over UCLA

De'Aaron Fox outclassed fellow freshman Lonzo Ball on Friday.

In perhaps the most anticipated Sweet 16 game of the year, Lonzo Ball and No. 3 seed UCLA face their toughest task yet: No. 2 seed Kentucky

The two teams have met earlier this season, with the Bruins coming out on top 97-92 on December 3.

But this is the tournament, and past results matter little.

Follow along for live coverage of the game here.

9:29 p.m.: I'm setting the over/under of CBS shots of LaVar Ball at 35.

9:42 p.m.: Good omen for the Wildcats: former Kentucky wing Devin Booker has 50 points and counting against the Celtics tonight. Bad omen for the Wildcats: Booker's Suns are losing by 14 points.

10:00 p.m.: This is fun! 11-8 UCLA at the first media timeout.

10:08 p.m.: non-Kentucky-UCLA update: Devin Booker has 70! I wonder if either Kentucky or the Bruins top that.

10:31 p.m.: There have been 12 lead changes so far. Like I said. Fun!

10:34 p.m.: Malik Monk just hit a three from so far back that even LaVar Ball has to be impressed.

10:41 p.m.: Lonzo Ball just shot from halfcourt with three seconds still remaining in the half. Making LaVar proud. (He missed, by the way.)

11:08 p.m.: Can we get six more games of this, please? De'Aaron Fox, Malik Monk and Lonzo Ball are all scorching right now.

11:14 p.m.: That's four fouls on Thomas Welsh. Huge.

11:28 p.m.: Kentucky is staving off every Bruin run. Do Lonzo and co. have one more stand left in them?

11:36 p.m.: And there goes Welsh. He's fouled out. Big loss for the Bruins as they look to climb back from a nine-point deficit.

11:48 p.m.: De'Aaron Fox is just awesome, He has 32 points, and clearly won the Ball-Fox duel.

11:56 p.m.:What agame from Fox. 39 points against Lonzo Ball.

11:57 p.m.:That's a final. Kentucky beats UCLA 86-75. And we're now on Steve Alford-to-Indiana watch.
