Marlee Matlin had a very special plus-one with her as she walked the red carpet on Sunday.

The CODA actress, 58, was joined by her 21-year-old son Tyler as she walked the carpet at the 2024 Oscars. The mother-son duo posed in front of a floral arrangement, with Matlin wearing a sparkly lavender gown.

As they smiled for the cameras together, Tyler showed off his coordinating lavender bow tie, placing an arm around his mom.

Matlin and her husband Kevin Grandalski share four children together — Sarah, 28, Brandon, 23, Tyler, and Isabelle, 19.

In December, the Switched at Birth star shared that she was going to be a grandma, posting on Instagram that her daughter Sarah is expecting a baby girl.

In the announcement post, Matlin shared a video of her daughter walking past her as she sat at an outdoor table with a slice of cake in front of her. As Sarah walked by, the actress grabbed her daughter’s wrist to stop her and pull her closer.

Sarah faced the camera, showing off her growing belly that could clearly be seen in her crop top as the mother-daughter duo both smiled together.

“It’s a girl!” Matlin said verbally while also communicating with ASL, as her daughter turned the cake to show it was pink on the inside.

In 2018, the mom of four shared with PEOPLE that her kids were so proud to see their mom compete on Dancing with the Stars.

“I’m really doing it for my kids because they want me to be the coolest mom ever. I don’t know if I’m crazy or what, but I’m going to give it my best shot!” she said at the time.
