Martellus Bennett isn't a rapper, but some of his friends are

Martellus Bennett finally got to win a Super Bowl in February. Now he might have his eyes on a Grammy Award.

The Packers tight end released a five-song rap EP on Wednesday and it's rather appropriately named —"I'm Not A Rapper But Some Of My Friends Are."

Getting help from rappers like MatchBoxTony and David Allen Dope, the titles of the five songs are "Dinosaurs & Dinomite," "Love Cali," "100%," "Whole Foods" and "ShaqFu."

"'I am not a rapper but some of my friends are...'is exactly what the title says it it is. It was just me and some of my friends hanging out in the studio making music for fun and this is what came out of it," Bennett wrote. "Pretty cool to have so many talented friends and be able to create with them at a high level. I am on a mission to express my creativity in as many ways as possible in 2017, this is a part of my creative journey. Enjoy."

Bennett, who was traded by the Bears to the Patriots last year, caught 55 passes for 701 yards and seven touchdowns during the 2016 regular season and then caught 11 passes for 98 yards in the playoffs to help New England win Super Bowl 51. He signed a three-year contract with the Packers earlier this month.

Bennett, whose "stage name" is "MartysaurusRex," hopes to win another Super Bowl with the Packers. As for a Grammy, that probably won't happen. Even Bennett admitted he's not a rapper, but some of his friends are.
