Arsenal added yet another instalment to their recent humiliations as they surrendered woefully at Crystal Palace, losing 3-0.
The result virtually removed any threat of the Gunners challenging for the top four this season but despite the three-goal deficit, fans saw the introduction of former player Mathieu Flamini as the ultimate insult.
The Frenchman came on for Luka Milivojevic in the final few minutes to rub further salt into the wounds of the already angry supporters. Twitter duly reacted to the incident:
Allardyce has brought on Flamini on the wind up...
The irony isn't lost with him.

We are 3-0 down to Crystal Palace. Aaron Ramsey is captain and Flamini has just came on. Let ISIS get on with it I say.

It was an action of almost comedic value from Sam Allardyce as Arsenal lost their fourth consecutive away game, conceding three times in all of those.
Goals from Andros Townsend, Yohan Cabaye and Milivojevic secured the victory as Gunners fans turned on the players from the stands.
Not many predicted that Flamini would have made a return to the Premier League this season but despite playing a bit-part role for the Eagles, he has delivered perhaps the biggest troll to his former club and the fans that ridiculed him.
