McAlester track athletes medal, set personal records at Poteau

Mar. 13—The Buffs are blazing their way to new hardware and new heights.

McAlester track and field traveled to Poteau Tuesday, where multiple athletes medaled and set personal records.

Thirteen runners placed in the top six of their events, with three individuals earning top three medals as well as a relay quartet — with five total relays placing in the top four.

In addition to the hardware, Buffalo athletes also set 26 personal records in various events.

The Buffs will be back in action after spring break as they'll host the Clark Bass Invitational on March 28 at Hook Eales Stadium and Clark Bass Track Complex.
