Rangers manager Ally McCoist has refused to rule out a move to bring striker Kris Boyd back to Ibrox.

Boyd could be set for a return to Britain after he terminated his contract with Turkish side Eskisehirspor following a dispute over unpaid wages.

McCoist says his priority is to strengthen his attacking options, but added of Boyd: "We've not heard anything. I'm in absolutely no position to rule anybody out. Unfortunately I'm in no position to count anybody in."

He added: "All I would say is I'm definitely short on forward areas.

"Although I can't say there is definite interest, it's certainly an area we need strengthening in."

Meanwhile, Sone Aluko insists he will not change his game as he prepares to return to action following suspension.

The Rangers winger was banned for two games after being found guilty of simulation in winning a penalty in the 2-1 win over Dunfermline.

Aluko said: "Everyone has had an opinion. There were seven-page spreads and every ex-pro had this and that to say.

"It was three weeks ago, let's get on with it. It's football, it happens.

"People have handballs, people are accused of diving. Those are football incidents and people like to talk, that's what's beautiful about the game. I'm just going to carry on playing the way I do and everyone else will talk."
