The Dubai World Cup crowns one of the most prestigious days of top quality Flat racing, with $7.2million of the overall $12million prize pot going to the winner.

This year could see an emotional farewell from legendary jockey Frankie Dettori, who is looking to crown his final Dubai appearance with his fifth World Cup win. If you're looking for some betting pointers in four of the day's biggest races, including the Dubai World Cup itself, then some of Tipstrr's horse racing tipsters have shared their selections below.

14.25 Dubai Golden Shaheen

This six-furlong dash is littered with likely contenders, but Lemon Pop stands out on the basis of a career-best success in last month's February Stakes in Tokyo.

That impressive display saw Lemon Pop beat 15 rivals including the reopposing Red Le Zele, who finished one and a half lengths behind in second. That success represented Lemon Pop's sixth win in the last seven outings, a sequence that was only spoiled when being edged out by a nose by Gilded Mirror in Tokyo three outings ago. With a hood applied, Lemon Pop should have the burst of speed to cope with today's drop in trip, and he is strongly fancied to be in the mix in the final furlong.

Suggested bet: Lemon Pop to win (100/30)

15.10 Dubai Turf

Two wins in five outings suggest that Master Of The Seas knows how to get his nose in front and keep it there.

He won the Zabeel Mile here in January, and was unsuited by the way the race developed when finishing third in the Jebel Hatta last month, but still finished strongly to end up just two necks behind the winner. Usual jockey William Buick has opted to ride stablemate Nations Pride in this one, leaving James Doyle keen to make the most of his ride on Charlie Appleby's smart gelding.

Suggested bet: Master Of The Seas each-way (10/1)

16.00 Dubai Sheema Classic

Any horse sired by Frankel gets something of a head start, and Westover has certainly made signs that he can live up to the pedigree.

A slightly disappointing performance in last year's Prix De LaArc De Triomphe should not disguise the quality of a horse who followed up a third-placed finish in the 2022 Epsom Derby with an emphatic seven-length win in the Irish version at the Curragh just three weeks later.

Ryan Moore has only ridden Westover once before, but this is a big step-up from their Pontefract outing 18 months ago, and Moore has clearly been booked to get the best out of this high-class colt.

Suggested bet: Westover each-way (7/1)

16.35 Dubai World Cup

While much of the focus will be on Frankie Dettori's Meydan swansong aboard Country Grammer, this race is about much more than the Italian jockey's sentimental farewell.

There are 15 top-quality runners and riders horses involved, including T O Keynes, ridden by former champion jockey Oisin Murphy, who will be hungry for big-time success after his 14-month suspension.

T O Keynes could prove to be the pick of the seven Japanese contenders and he has been given a decent draw from stall six. The six-year-old finished half a length behind the reopposing Ushba Teoro at Kawasaki last time out in February, but he did not have much luck in running, and looks capable of reversing that outcome and more, especially with Murphy at the reins Suggested bet: T O Keynes each-way (10/1)
