MFC Foundation in line for Boro Women shirt sponsorship boost after Durata gesture

The MFC Foundation have expressed their gratitude after Boro Women sponsor Durata announced they will donate their front of shirt sponsorship to the cause for Sunday's game against Barnsley.

Table-topping Boro will face ninth-placed Barnsley at Stocketon's FC's MAP Group Stadium at 2pm on Sunday, November 17, and for the second year running, Durata made this special gesture to the Foundation..

“We’re so grateful for this gesture from Durata," deputy head of the Foundation Craig McManus said. “I know there is a strong relationship between Durata and the Foundation and they’re big Boro fans too. They know what we’re about, they know what we try to do to help the communities of Teesside and the very much share the same values. So “thank-you” to Durata, this is so kind.”

There will be activities beforehand and at half-time courtesy participants from the Foundation’s Premier League Kicks programmes including Borobility, a programme for disabled youngsters, the mascot is a Virtual Schools participant, half-time penalties are back with Borobility while other half-time activities will feature Premier League Kicks participants and young people from the crowd.

The Foundation’s business development manager Paul Shepherd added: “This is a massive couple of weeks for the Foundation and we’re so grateful for all the support we’ve been given.

“We’re so grateful to everyone. I’m looking forward to Sunday’s game. I go to all the Boro Women’s games and really enjoy them; this one is just a little more special because of our involvement.”

Representatives of many of the Foundation’s programmes will be on hand to answer any questions. Tickets cost £5 for adults and u16s come free, tickets are available on the gate at the MAP Group Stadium this Sunday from 1pm.
