The People’s Elephant’s skipper suffered from fatigue due to fixture congestion and he was subsequently advised to rest for the Sky Blues.
He stated that he hopes to be fit before Wednesday knowing the importance of the game to their position on the Nigeria topflight log.
“I am getting better and I am hoping to be in shape before our next league game against Remo Stars. I have been resting and training to see if I will be fit for the game with Remo Stars. It is a game we will like to win well to improve on the league table at the end of the first round,” Udoh told Goal.
Enyimba are seventh on the log with 25 points from 18 games.
