Michael Bisping vs. Dan Henderson UFC 204 Rematch Sold Out in Minutes

Michael Bisping's Top 3 UFC Career Highlights

Tickets for the rematch between middleweight champion Michael Bisping and Dan Henderson at UFC 204 on Oct. 8 went on sale to the general public on Friday and quickly sold out. In just six minutes, they were gone.

The feat is all the more amazing because of the UFC 204 main card start time of 3 a.m. local time to accommodate the American pay-per-view market. Bisping and Henderson will likely be fighting at about 5:30 in the morning.

Bisping broke the news of the event's ticket sales on Twitter this morning, and UFC officials confirmed the sell-out.

It's the seventh consecutive UFC event to sell out in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region.

“We’re thrilled to see this kind of demand for tickets in the UK. With a stacked card and a UK champion in the main event, this really is a night of sporting action you can’t miss,” said James Elliott, UFC EMEA General Manager and Vice President.

Bisping became the first British fighter to win a UFC title when he knocked out Luke Rockhold at UFC 199 on June 4. He'll put his title on the line for the first time against Henderson and try to avenge a 2009 knockout loss to Hendo. Henderson logged a spectacular knockout win over Bisping at UFC 100.

The rematch takes place at the Manchester Arena in Bisping's hometown of Manchester, England.
