Kenyan striker Michael Olunga scored his first goal for Chinese Super League side Guizhou Hengfeng Zhicheng at Yuexiushan Stadium on Friday.
The former Gor Mahia forward scored an equalizer in the 22nd minute for his side to cancel out Eran Zahavi’s first-minute goal which had put Guangzhou R&F in the lead.
Nikica Jelavic then scored a brace in the second half to hand Guizhou Hengfeng Zhicheng their first win of the season from seven matches.
This was Olunga’s fourth match for the Chinese side after leaving Swedish Djurdargens IF in January. His first match was against Tianjin Teda on Saturday 8, April, followed by a match against Chongqing Dangdai Lifan on Friday 14 and that against Shanghai Shenhua a week later.
