The update follows an earlier appeal for the public’s help in locating Michael Rainey, who had been last seen with his cocker spaniel in the Forthriver Drive area of north Belfast around 11am on Sunday (October 29).
A PSNI spokesperson said: “Missing person Michael Rainey, from north Belfast, has been located safe and well.”
