Mike Tyson keeps active during coronavirus quarantine by ... sparring his dog

Former heavyweight world champion Mike Tyson’s has raised eyebrows by sharing a video of himself sparring none other than his dog, Mars.

Tyson, 53, is currently in self-isolation amid the global coronavirus pandemic.

And it appears the former WBA, WBC and IBF heavyweight champ has been keeping his fitness levels up in unorthodox fashion.

Tyson recently created an Instagram page for his beloved dog and has shared a video in which the duo playfully dance around his kitchen.

“Come on Mars, you want some?” Tyson asks, as his dog watches on.

Tyson then crouches down to his knees before unloading a serious of playful punches, even pulling out his famous ‘peek-a-boo’ move.

But it appears Mars has the right idea — the dog circles around his master before quickly disappearing to another room.

The caption posted with the video reads: ‘I went easy on him.’

Fans of Tyson were pleased to see the American boxing legend in good spirits after he last week remarked that he was “looking forward” to his own death.

“From my experience, from what I believe, the more I know about not existing, the more willing I am to die,” he told The Sportsman.

“Yeah [I look forward to it], I don’t fear it. Living might be more complicated than dying to me... because living takes a lot of courage.”
