Miron Muslic says Plymouth Argyle 'very close' to new signings
Miron Muslic is poised to finally make his first Plymouth Argyle signings, getting on for three weeks since he was appointed as head coach.
Both of Argyle's two January recruits so far - Michael Baidoo and Tymoteusz Puchacz - were brought in before Muslic arrived at Home Park and the deadline of 11pm on Monday to make further additions is now looming large.
However, Muslic told a Press conference this lunchtime that 'the plan is to have some players arriving tonight' and he hoped they would be able to take part in training tomorrow, ahead of the home Championship clash against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday (12.30pm).

Argyle have been strongly linked with Ukraine international defender Maksym Talovierov and Slovenian midfielder Adriab Zeljkovic, and when Muslic was directly asked about both of them he did not deny the reports.
The Green Army have understandably become frustrated at the lack of new signings, especially given Argyle's position at the bottom of the Championship, but Muslic seemed confident that he was about to add his squad.
Muslic said: "I think we are very, very close. Some names are already outside, some rumours are already outside. The plan is to have some players arriving tonight, hopefully everything can be done so we could have them in the session tomorrow (Friday).
"It's a hectic transfer window, not only for us for everyone involved. It's a little bit of madness in January but like I have said before for me it was never about just getting players, it was about getting the right players for Argyle, who realise the situation we are in and still be ready to face this big, big challenge. I think we are on a very good way and we are getting closer."
The former Cercle Brugge boss added: "We have to be patient, things are moving and I think very soon we can confirm something officially."
It was reported by Sky Sports News earlier this week that Argyle had agreed a two million euro (£1.7m) fee for Talovierov with Austrian Bundesliga club
Asked by Plymouth Live whether Talovierov was one of the players who could be about to sign for Argyle, Muslic said: "I think he's a nice player, he's a nice profile and that's a profile and a kind of player we also like. So let's see. Things are moving and hopefully very soon we will have some confirmations."
Zeljkovic is a 22-year-old midfielder at Slovak First League side Spartak Trnava. Muslic said: "Rumours and names are part of the January madness and I think very soon we are going to have something to deliver for you guys (the media)."
The Pilgrims' boss added: "The window is still open for a couple of days. We are not having these discussions for the next three weeks, and I'm very grateful for this! So work in progress, we are on a good way and I think very soon we can present some names."
Asked how difficult it had been trying to sign players for Argyle, Muslic said: "Part of our job, and I'm not frustrated at all. I want to sign the right players and I want to be sure these are the right players who can pick up this challenge, and have the heart to face this, and the heart to give it all.
"It takes then a little bit of time and I would rather spend a couple of days more to make sure we have the right players than last week just signing three names to be satisfied. I know the time in this January transfer window is against us and we need players soon, no doubt, but it's always about the right players and I think we are on a good way to sign the right ones.
"It's clear we have to reinforce this squad in some positions. Remember, just a couple of days ago we had two centre-backs (Julio Pleguezuelo and Victor Palsson) available.
"I'm very happy with the squad and I'm also very happy with the potential targets we have and we might bring in. Give us a couple days and we will find out."
