Mohamed Salah drops Liverpool injury hint with wordless message
Mohamed Salah has dropped a hint that one Liverpool star may be nearing a return from injury. The Reds are nearing the end of the November international break as they return to Premier League action this weekend.
Salah did not link up with the Egypt squad during the international break for his country's Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Cape Verde and Botswana. Instead, the 32-year-old has mostly remained on Merseyside working on his fitness during the hiatus from Premier League football, although Salah was recently in attendance at the Sharjah International Book Fair in the United Arab Emirates.
On Tuesday, Salah posted a video on social media which showed him back in Liverpool preparing for the return of club football. Salah posted the video on his Instagram story of himself in the gym at the AXA Training Centre in Kirkby.

The video also showed Alisson Becker in the gym working with a physio. The Liverpool goalkeeper has been sidelined for several weeks with a hamstring injury and has not featured for the Reds since being withdrawn in the second half against Crystal Palace on October 5.
It was expected that Alisson would be sidelined for "a few weeks" but it remains to be seen when the Brazilian will return to the matchday squad. Caoimhin Kelleher has stepped up to be Liverpool's No.1 in Alisson's absence, winning six of the seven games that he has started.
Arne Slot was asked about the goalkeeping situation at Liverpool before the international break. The Reds head coach confirmed that, despite the impressive form from Kelleher, Alisson remains the club's first-choice shot-stopper.
“First of all, Alisson needs to become fit,” Slot told reporters earlier this month. “I have always been quite clear, that’s always been the position of Alisson.
“He is and will be our first goalkeeper if he is fit. But first he needs to be fit.
“But Caoimh has done outstanding, last season and this season again as well but the moment Alisson is fit, he will be our first goalkeeper.”
