Between long work days, homework help, dinner prep and bedtime duties that come along with motherhood, my desire to climb into bed hits its peak around 9 p.m. I love my kids and my job, but — man, oh man — they both take a toll on my energy. Sure, I’m the kind of person who can get by on very little sleep when needed. But when I’m able to get a good night’s rest, my ability to do my day job (working) and full-time job (parenting) is massively improved.

For mommas out there who desperately want to sleep better, here are a few tips and products to help you wake up with that unstoppable, well-rested energy. Don’t worry. It’s not as elusive as you might think.
First things first, you can help yourself out by implementing a few best practices such as:
Refrain from eating close to bedtime. Try to give yourself a three-hour window between your last meal and when your head hits the pillow.
Power down your devices one hour before bed to reduce blue light exposure and give your brain a break from tech.
Aim to go to bed and wake up around the same time every day to get your biological clock into a natural rhythm.
