14:25 Ayr - Rory the Cat

Keith Dalgleish's Rory the Cat is worth keeping an eye on during the Longines Irish Champions Weekend EBF Maiden Stakes. Fourth on his last outing at Beverley a fortnight ago, the youngster brought attention to himself with a late surge. On his second start, an improved start would give him every chance of achieving his maiden victory.

16:10 Ayr - Quest for Fun

Quest for Fun is eyeing up a hat-trick in Monday's Ayr Gold Cup Trial Handicap. Julie Camacho's sprinter showed plenty of promise back in 2020, and a break over the entirety of 2021 seems to have given the son of Lope De Vega an extra gear. His return at Haydock wasn't anything to shout about, but consecutive victories at Thirsk and Ayr last month puts him on the verge of three consecutive wins. His last winning margin was just a head, but with momentum now behind him, a 4lb rise doesn't look too much of an issue.

16:45 Ayr- Iris Dancer

Iris Dancer's incredible consistency is too good to miss out on. Yet to finish outside of the top four in any races this year, the Kodiac filly is a safe choice for Monday's Ayrshire Cancer Support Handicap. On top of her consistency, a narrow success at Hamilton shows her winning potential. She followed that up by pushing a lightly-raced William Haggas inmate to three-quarters of a length at Carlisle, which was a fine effort from 1lb out of the handicap. A reproduction of that performance will see her go close in Scotland.
