Moroccan player heads the ball into his own net in stoppage time, giving his team a heartbreaking loss to Iran

Morocco handed Iran a stunning 1-0 win in stoppage time in the World Cup on Friday when striker Aziz Bouhaddouz headed the ball into his own net off a corner kick.

Iran earned the corner in the 94th minute with both teams scoreless. Bouhaddouz attempted to head the ball back to the Moroccan keeper but ended up burying it in his own net.

Heartbreaking for the Moroccans.

Morocco's World Cup dreams may already be over, barring an unexpected result. It still has to face Spain and Portugal in its group; Iran represented its easiest match on paper.
