Rangers' start to their Europa League campaign has them sitting in a decent position to eye a last 16 spot.

Currently tenth in the newly revamped continental competition, Philippe Clement's side are in a position where they'd bag themselves a playoff spot and are just two points off the automatic qualification positions. Their draw in Greece last night kept them at the top end of the playoffs and despite some dismal domestic results, they tend to fare better this season when playing in Europe.

Cyriel Dessers equalised for the Ibrox side last side to keep their European dream well on track but with another point under their belt, they guaranteed more prize money too. Here, Football Scotland looks at just how much Rangers have won so far this season in the Europa League.

An away win against Malmo, a home loss to Lyon, an Ibrox victory against FCSB, and last night's draw at Olympiacos means Rangers have a record of two wins, one draw, and one loss in the competition so far. In the new-look competition, a loss doesn't get you any prize money, while a draw bags you £126,400 and a win comes in at a cool £379,201.

So, from their on-field performances alone so far Clement's side have earned a total of around £884,802. There is another £3.6million to add to that too, as that's the sum they banked for qualifying as that's what they pocketed for qualifying for the league phase. In addition to that, UEFA are now awarding a further incentive-based bonus to clubs that, in the Europa League, would see teams earn a further £62,000 for every position above the bottom of the league phase table they finish in.

While no one is getting ahead of themselves, here is a full breakdown of Europa League prize money on offer for all sides this season:
