Myles Garrett decorated his house with gravestones of opposing quarterbacks

NFL defensive ends like to talk about putting opposing quarterbacks six feet under, but Cleveland Browns star Myles Garrett took that literally this Halloween. Garrett got festive with his trash talk, decorating his front yard with gravestones featuring the names of opposing quarterbacks.

At least seven gravestones sit in front of Garrett's house. They feature the names of quarterbacks he's already faced, or will face, during the 2021 NFL season.

That list includes the three other starters in the AFC North, Justin Fields, Justin Herbert, Mac Jones and Kyler Murray. Garrett's choices were intentional. He played against Fields and Herbert already, and will take on Murray in Week 6. The matchup against Jones won't come until November, so Garrett may have given the New England Patriots some bulletin board material for that contest.

Unless they are hidden elsewhere, gravestones for Kirk Cousins, Patrick Mahomes, Davis Mills and Tyrod Taylor are not present at Garrett's house. Garrett faced all four of those quarterbacks this season.

Myles Garrett off to excellent start in 2021

Garrett is a force to be reckoned with in 2021. Through five games he's registered 7 sacks, which leads the NFL. He's recorded a sack in every game except Week 2 against Houston.

Garrett, 25, has put up strong numbers in the past, but his game took a major step forward in 2020. Garrett registered 12 sacks and 18 quarterback hits in 14 games. He made the Pro Bowl for the second time, and was named to the All Pro team for the first time.

Garrett should be in line for similar accolades in 2021 as long as he can stay healthy.
