Nandwa cry foul over poor officiating in Leopards match

Thika United want to redeem themselves with a win against Kariobangi Sharks on Wednesday

Thika United were defeated by AFC Leopards on 2-1 margin at Thika sub-county Stadium on Sunday but their head coach James Nandwa is pointing blame fingers at the referees.

While conceding the defeat after the match where Gilbert Fiamenyo and Whyvonne Isuza were on target for AFC Leopards before Salim Mzee scored a consolation for his side (Thika United), Nandwa asserted that the centre referee was completely biased in favour of Ingwe.

He says that a number of decisions undermined his boys, wishing that such matches were aired live in order to reduce instances of bias.

"The centre referee made dubious decisions which I think cost us in the end. It is clear that SuperSport’s exit will hurt a number of teams in the league because referees can now do open mistakes."

AFC Leopards are now placed at position two while Thika United sit on the 14th spot from six matches.
