Heavy rain has officially postponed Sunday's Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway.
The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race was scheduled to start at 2 p.m. on Fox, but weather conditions are not suitable for racing, NASCAR announced at Sunday's drivers meeting.
Monday's conditions aren't that much better. Rain is expected in the morning and early afternoon. Brian Neudorff, a NASCAR Meteorologist for SB Nation, predicts there's "around a 60 percent" chance the race will be able to run Monday at 1 p.m.
