NBA pulls 2017 All-Star Game from Charlotte, North Carolina, over transgender law

July 21 (Reuters) - The NBA has cancelled plans to hold its 2017 All-Star Game in Charlotte over a North Carolina state law decried as discriminatory against the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community, the league said on Thursday. If there is an appropriate resolution to the matter the NBA said it hoped to reschedule the All-Star Game in Charlotte for 2019. (Reporting by Steve Keating in Toronto)
