Who won the NBA Slam Dunk Contest in 2020? Full results & highlights from All-Star weekend

Sporting News

The 2020 NBA Slam Dunk Contest featured several 50s and a controversial ending.

Finalists Aaron Gordon and Derrick Jones Jr. went back and forth through two rounds Saturday night, and matching scores forced the leapers into a dunk-off. Jones scored a 48 with high-flying windmill on his second overtime attempt, and Gordon answered with a rim-rocking jam over Celtics center Tacko Fall.

Unfortunately for Gordon, the judges awarded him a 47, and the United Center crowd loudly voiced its displeasure with Jones' victory. Gordon had scored only 50s up to that point, but he walked away from another Slam Dunk Contest as a runner-up.
