Neil Harris says Millwall are looking forward to getting their League One promotion bid back on track after their FA Cup exit to Tottenham.

The Lions, who lost 6-0 at White Hart Lane last Sunday, face Bury at The Den tomorrow.

Millwall are sixth in the table with games in hand on the teams around them.

Harris said: “The FA Cup was always a really nice distraction for us. We will bounce back and look forward to facing Bury.”

Millwall missed the midweek round of fixtures and saw the top four all win - including Scunthorpe's first victory since January.

However, Harris is happy with how other results went their way as play-off rivals Bristol Rovers, Oxford United and Walsall all lost.

“I don’t assess things over a one-game period – you’ve got to look over the course of a week to 10 days,” said Harris.

“We found ourselves on Wednesday morning roughly about where I expected to be on the back of everyone playing twice and we didn’t.

“The teams in the top four had victories but Bradford didn’t. More importantly, the teams below didn’t gain any points. It makes it extremely difficult for any sides below Southend to try and catch the clubs in the top six.

“There are pros and cons to the results, as always. We can’t control what other teams do if we’re not playing them.”
