Neraysho Kasanwirjo major Rangers injury scare as defender suffers awkward fall
Rangers have been dealt a major injury blow after Neraysho Kasanwirjo appeared to suffer a serious knee injury.
The Feyenoord loanee was in action for Netherlands Under-21 side against England but was forced off in the 79th minute after collapsing to the deck. Kasanwirjo overstretched as he attempted to win a 50/50 and there are serious fears that the versatile defender may face a substantial period on the sidelines.
Kasanwirjo was assessed on the pitch by the Netherlands' medical team who immediately signalled to the bench that the 22-year-old's night was over. Kasanwirjo was clearly upset as he was helped off the pitch and headed straight down the tunnel for further treatment.

The news will come as a major concern for Ibrox boss Philippe Clement ahead of a hectic run of fixtures across the next couple of months. Gers are competing across all four fronts as they juggle their domestic and Europa League schedule, while there's also the small matter of an Old Firm League Cup Final showdown at Hampden on December 15.
Versatile Kasanwirjo has racked up 12 appearances for the Light Blues since sealing his season-long loan switch on deadline day.
